If you love mysterious and strange things, there’s no better choice for you than Ripley’s Believe It or Not. The strange building located at 8201 International Drive houses 16 galleries containing all that is odd and unbelievable, bizarre relics, unique artifacts and treasures. You’ll need to discover it all on this self-guided tour. For over 40 years, Robert Ripley searched the whole world for amazing, unbelievable and sometimes funny things. His works were first published in 1929. After having ended his quest, Ripley gathered all his discoveries in 27 museums, located in 10 countries. The Orlando Odditorium is a building unique both on the outside and on the inside. From the first minute you step in, Ripley’s ghost welcomes you, asks you to look around and believe it… or not. Shrunken heads brought from South America and Ecuador, a 26 feet tall portrait called “Study for Portrait of Van Gogh” created by Cornel Biereng of Amsterdam out of 3,000 postcards, the Matchstick Silver Ghost Rolls Royce and many other oddities are waiting for you.
