Founded in Orlando in 1991, the Orlando Predators have established a record of 14 consecutive winning seasons. In the 2006 season, this amazing football team will be lead by Joe Hamilton, Kenny McEntyre and Cory Fleming. One of the first franchises in Arena Football, the Orlando Predators have always offered spectacular games to their fans. When you come to Orlando, we strongly recommend that you go to one of their games and meet the team’s mascot, Klaw. You’ll surely love it. The Predators’ greatest rival is Tampa Bay, in St. Petersburg. Their rivalry is called the “war on I-4”, named after the interstate that connects Orlando to St. Petersburg. One of the factors that intensified this rivalry is that Jay Gruden, Tampa Bay’s famous quarterback, accepted to be the Predators’ head coach. The Orlando Predators’ most categorical victory was when they defeated San Antonio Force with 50-0. On June 19, 1992, the Orlando Predators played an incredible game with Detroit Drive. One minute before the end of the game, they Predators were down 42-32. It took them only 46 seconds to win the game. This was their “miracle minute”.
