Mennello Museum-American Folk |

|
Located at 900 East Princeton Street, the Mennello Museum of American Art is operated by the city of Orlando. If you love art, this amazing museum is worth visiting. Gathering, preserving, interpreting and exhibiting valuable works of art, the Mennello Museum of American Art tries to make people of all ages appreciate art. We invite you to the annual Folk Festival, the permanent collection of Earl Cunningham and many other permanent and changing exhibits signed by famous American artists. The Earl Cunningham collection was donated to the museum by Marilyn and Michael Mennello and was opened in 1998. In 2007, the Smithsonian American Art Institute will organize a tour of almost 60 paintings signed by Cunningham. The museum now offers you more than wonderful memories to leave with: artwork, books, greeting cards and folk art gifts. The museum is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10:30 am to 4:30 pm and on Sunday from noon to 4:30 pm. For admission, adults will need to pay 4 dollars, people aged 60 and over 3 dollars and students 1 dollar. Children under 12 may visit the museum for free.
