Citrus Bowl Stadium |

The Citrus Bowl Stadium, located at 1610 W. Church Street, was built in 1936. When it was opened, the stadium had a capacity of 10,000 seats. On January 1, 1947, the first college football game confronted Catawba and Maryville. Catawba won with 31-6. In time, the stadium has expanded and it now has a capacity of almost 70,000 seats. When you decide to visit Orlando, make sure you don’t miss the Citrus Bowl Stadium. All kind of events are held at the stadium, such as American football games, concerts and motorsports events. Among the former tenants of the stadium we shall name the Orlando Broncos, the Orlando Panthers, the Orlando Americans, the Orlando Renegades, the Orlando Thunder and the Orlando Rage. Over the years, Pink Floyd, the Eagles, Guns 'n Roses, Paul McCartney, Elton John, the Rolling Stones all gave great performances on the Citrus Bowl Stadium.
